Waffles Construction serves homeowners and businesses across Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Burlington, Ancaster, Dundas and the surrounding areas, and after more than a decade in residential and commercial construction we have built our name on projects that improve comfort, function and long term value. Our work runs from full remodels and custom builds to additions that add usable space without disrupting the way a home actually lives, along with commercial renovations that have to be finished on schedule so a business can get back to serving its customers. Every project starts with a clear scope, a realistic budget and a timeline you can plan around, because most of the frustration people describe with past contractors comes down to surprises that were never explained up front. We manage every stage in house instead of handing your job off to a rotating cast of subtrades, which keeps quality consistent, coordination tight and timelines reliable from the first day of demolition through the final walkthrough. Waffles Construction is led by Dan, who has spent more than a decade on job sites across Hamilton and the surrounding area, first with the tools in his hands and now guiding every project we take on. He started the company because too many homeowners were being handed vague quotes, moving timelines and crews that disappeared halfway through. His approach is simple. Show up, do the work properly and tell people the truth, even when it is not what they were hoping to hear.

And yes, Waffles is real. He is Dan's goldendoodle and the heart behind the name. He greets everyone with enthusiasm, brings unmatched energy and never gives up on what he is after. Those qualities are exactly how we approach every project: welcoming, driven and fully committed from the first walkthrough to the final detail.

Waffles Construction runs on experienced leadership, Red Seal certified tradespeople and project managers who act as your single point of contact from start to finish. You will not be handed off between departments or left chasing someone for an update. When you call, you reach the person who was standing in your home that morning, not a call centre and not a voicemail box that gets checked on Fridays.  One person knows your project, knows your timeline and knows what happens next. That person walks the site with you at the start, sets expectations honestly, and tells you the same thing on day forty that they told you on day one. If something changes, and on a renovation something almost always changes, you hear it from us first, with the options laid out and the cost impact in writing before any work moves ahead. No surprises at the end, no line items you have never seen before. We work only with suppliers and trade partners who share our standards, because the finished product is only as good as the people who touch it. That means the electrician, the tiler and the cabinet installer have all worked with us before and know exactly what we expect on site. Every one of them has been vetted, they carry their own insurance and WSIB coverage, and we do not cut corners on who we bring through your door. It also means fewer delays, because the trades we call actually show up when they say they will. The same goes for how we leave your space at the end of each day. Floors get protected, dust gets contained, tools get put away and the site gets swept. You are living in this house while we work in it, and we have never thought that was a good reason to treat it like a job site.
