Waffles Construction

We are thrilled with the final result of our kitchen renovation. Dan was great to deal with throughout the project, and Savvas was fantastic as our day-to-day contact. The process went much better than we expected, largely because they truly listened to what we wanted while offering expert advice when appropriate. The entire experience was defined by transparency, starting with the level of detail in their initial quote. The crew was friendly and punctual, and they provided a detailed schedule that was kept up to date so we always knew exactly when someone was going to be at the house. What impressed us most was the level of accountability; Savvas made sure we were completely satisfied with every detail, even if it meant he did the work himself. It was very easy to bring up concerns, and they made a strong effort to keep the rest of the house clean during the process. We highly recommend Waffles Construction!

We have had the pleasure of working with Dan of Waffles Construction on a couple of occasions. We first worked with him to install a new side door and were so pleased with his work we consulted him again to replace four window in our home. From start to finish his crew were great. Working long days to get the windows installed and capped. They were courteous and friendly and left job site clean and tidy. Dan followed up after the install to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. I would certainly recommend Waffles Construction as a responsible, reliable contractor and will use them the next time we have any renovation work to be done.

Happy to provide a review for Dan and the rest of the team at Waffles Construction! Dan was extremely professional and helpful during our installation of replacement windows and doors. He worked with us to select the right product and kept us informed during the process. Dan went out of his way to suggest alternate methods of achieving a certain look even if it meant a lower budget. He truly cares about the results and that we were satisfied. Do not hesitate to engage Waffles for any sized project!

I highly recommend Dan and his team. They are extremely reliable, professional and consistently do excellent work. No matter the size of the job - large, midsize, small - Dan adapts seamlessly and ensures everything is completed to the highest standards. The Waffles team designed and built my basement bathroom and laundry room, and the workmanship was impeccable. The attention to detail, organization and overall quality truly stood out. He is a fantastic resource, and I have confidently recommended him to many family members and friends.

We had a dream of building the ultimate outdoor sunken lounge in our backyard. Sunken lounges are a popular feature in Japanese garden design, and we were determined to bring that serene, luxurious vibe to our own home. We spent a huge amount of time researching to find the best, most reliable, and trustworthy contractor. After weeks of searching, we narrowed it down to three promising companies. Within an hour of sending our enquiry, Dan from Waffles Construction got back to us. We arranged an on-site meeting the following week, and from that very first conversation we felt completely at ease. The entire project was an absolute success from start to finish. The photos truly speak a thousand words! Dan and his team were meticulous in every detail, kept the site spotless throughout the build, and delivered exactly what we envisioned – on time and on budget. I will definitely be using Dan again for future projects and can’t recommend Waffles Construction highly enough. If you want outstanding craftsmanship, clear communication, and a stress-free experience, look no further!

It was a pure blessing we got Dan, the owner of Waffles Constructions as our contractor during our house renovations. The main floor was renovated completely with new floor, new drywalls and a new powder room . His team includes the top skilled plumbing company and electrical company in the area. He allowed us to pick and choose the top floor work according to our available budget. You can totally trust him to do all the necessary work the house needs even if you haven’t pointed it out during the discussions. Every nook and corner of the house gets his undivided attention and I would definitely recommend Dan for any future work to my family and friends. I have already done that!!!

The positive reviews here are what made me want to reach out to Waffles Construction. I was not asked for a review, I honestly want to express how happy we have been with our projects. Dan helped us with some house projects, new front and back doors, a window replacement, new backyard fencing, additional lighting for our porch, and Dan, Savvas and other crew were amazing. Quality of work and integrity and friendliness on the job went above and beyond. No corners were cut, and pricing was fair. They addressed any questions, concerns or changes we had quickly and actually listened to what we wanted. Job site left tidy, always sending us heads-up prior to arrival, old-school work ethics. Sub-contracts engaged were also local, friendly and top notch. I have no hesitation recommending Waffles and we would use Dan again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

I’ve worked with a lot of general contractors over the years, and I can honestly say working with this team has been one of the smoothest experiences. Communication is clear, scheduling is organized, and the job sites are always properly prepped and ready when trades arrive — which makes a huge difference for getting quality work done on time. They treat their trades with respect, pay attention to detail, and genuinely care about delivering a solid finished product to their clients. It’s always a pleasure being brought onto their projects, and I’d gladly work with them again anytime. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a professional and reliable contractor.

We had some unexpected water damage due to a crack in the foundation. The owner, Dan, came out the day after we contacted them, and had a crew available to start the following week! The transfer of attention to the site manager, Savvas, was top notch and very professional. All communication was transparent and clear as was the budget process/itemization. Every trade that came by (drywall, demo, carpet, paint) was prompt, tidy, very kind and respectful. They had been already vetted by Waffles, so there were no surprises. And no need to GC your own job or worry about being home- Savvas takes care of all of it!

After a conversation about a possible dishwasher repair with Dan, we made the bigger decision to work with Waffles Construction to do a full main floor renovation – which included that dishwasher replacement!! Dan & his team were a pleasure to have in our home for the 3+ month project. His ability to advise and recommend various suppliers and options was very helpful. The subtrades he brought into our home were also friendly and easy to work with. And Dan’s response to questions and calls for various needs was very friendly, professional and immediate. We always felt we were a priority and that the work was staying on schedule – even knowing he had some other things on the go during those months. We would definitely recommend Waffles Construction for your home projects – they are a trustworthy and dependable team!
